There is a certain something that I see in you
In each and every of your words and in the way you move
Your body looks so naked, so fragile and so weak
But still you´re able to achieve things beyond belief

You travelled to the moon and to the bottom of the seas
All I can do is sit around or jump from tree to tree
I´m the undisputed king in my empire of apes
But I´m more than just an animal devoid of human traits

I´m tired of sleeping, eating, fighting – the behaviors of a beast
I want to live my wildest dreams, all the possibilities

I want to know the secret of fire
How to find it in my heart
I want to know the secret of fire
So I can become what i know I can be
There´s a world to explore and it´s waiting for me
But to open the door I must carry the key and that´s
The secret of fire

I know all about the jungle, the parrots and the snakes
Now I want to learn about gravity and space
I want to draw and write and read, divide and multiply
And do all the fun and brainy things invented by mankind

Do you think that I could dance and sing or play some mean guitar?
Or make money at the stock exchange and drive a fancy car?
Maybe I could be a scientist or a surgeon of top grade
Or even two term president of the great United States

The future´s unpredictable but I am not afraid
Because with tools and knowledge at my hands I´m master of my fate
