MAKING HEROES DIE
Mahatma freed his people
With an army without guns
And what had been a pipe dream
Became reality at once
Mahatma taught his people
That their fate was in their hands
And saw them kill each other
Like it had made them mad
All indifferent reflection
All the truth that we deny
Every hatchet left unburied
Is making heroes die
All indifferent reflection
All the truth that we deny
Every hatchet left unburied
Is making heroes die
Jesus walked the world
To collect the sins of man
As soon as he got to heaven
He watched them sin again
Many others were to follow
Still they do and soon the will
To sacrifice for justice
Only we can make them win
All indifferent reflection
All the truth that we deny
Every hatchet left unburied
Is making heroes die
All indifferent reflection
All the truth that we deny
Every hatchet left unburied
Is making heroes die
People spent their lifes in chains
With nothing left but hope
Imagine yourself strolling in a square
Picking daisies behind prison walls
Guilty of a different culture
Guilty of a different color
Who do you think will save you
When nobody´s left to call
Who do you think will save you
When nobody´s left to call
All indifferent reflection
All the truth that we deny
Every hatchet left unburied
Is making heroes die
The consequences of what we do
Will soon come back at me and you
If we refuse to see the truth
We´ll harm ourselves with every move
There is so much that we could lose
If we don´t share our right to choose
There´s no way we could excuse
We´ve built our lives up on abuse
All indifferent reflection
All the truth that we deny
Every hatchet left unburied
Is making heroes die
